Background.

Solutions Consulting was founded in 2008 by Herb Deines to provide independent geology services in all aspects of the oil industry.  Prior to the founding of Solutions Consulting, Herb worked for the Kansas Corporation Commission, Oil and Gas Division, as the District Supervisor for District#4. Herb was the District Supervisor for the KCC for the past 12 years, and worked as a geologist for the KCC for the 7 years prior to his role as District Supervisor.  Prior to working for the KCC, Herb worked as an independent geologist. 

Experience & Training.

Herb received his B.S. in Geology from Fort Hays State University in 1982.  In addition, Herb holds a B.S.  in Agriculture from Fort Hays State University and a B.S. in Business Management from Golden Gate University.   Based on his experience as an independent geologist and during his career with the KCC, Herb has worked in nearly all aspects of the oil industry, including exploration, production, well-site supervision, regulatory and compliance, and legal matters.  Herb is a member of the Kansas Geological Society.
